SMS Opt-In Flow

How Every LA LLC collects express consent for its SMS program

Every LA LLC operates an SMS program to communicate with clients and prospective clients who request it. Enrollment in text messaging is always voluntary and optional — you can request our services, submit our contact form, or speak with us without ever consenting to SMS. This page describes the specific methods by which consumers may opt in and the disclosures they see at the point of consent.

How consumers opt in to our SMS program

Consumers may provide express written consent to receive text messages from Every LA LLC through any of the following methods:

    Web form on this website

    By checking the applicable SMS consent box on the contact form on this website at everyla.com. Both consent boxes (one for transactional messages, one for marketing messages) are unchecked by default and are not required to submit the form. The full consent disclosure, Privacy Policy link, and Terms link are displayed adjacent to each checkbox.

    Text keyword

    By texting START (or JOIN) to our business number +1 (310) 776-5145. The consumer then receives a confirmation message containing the brand name, message program description, frequency, rate disclosure, and STOP/HELP instructions.

    Verbal consent

    By providing verbal consent during a phone call or in-person consultation, at which point our team reads the consumer the required disclosures ("message frequency varies," "message and data rates may apply," "text HELP for help and STOP to unsubscribe") and logs the date, time, and consent in our CRM.

Only individuals who take one of these affirmative actions are enrolled. Consent to receive marketing messages is never a condition of any purchase or service.

Consent language shown at the point of opt-in

The following consent language appears next to each of the two separate, unchecked, optional checkboxes on our contact form:

Transactional (non-marketing) checkbox: "By checking this box, I consent to receive transactional (non-marketing) text messages from Every LA LLC (everyLA) — such as appointment reminders, showing confirmations, transaction and escrow updates, and replies to my inquiries — at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase."

Marketing checkbox: "By checking this box, I consent to receive marketing text messages from Every LA LLC (everyLA) — such as new listing alerts, open house and price-reduction notifications, market updates, and offers about our real estate services — at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase."

The kinds of messages we send

  • Transactional / non-marketing: appointment and showing reminders and confirmations, transaction and escrow status updates, document requests, and replies to your inquiries.
  • Marketing / promotional: new listing alerts, open house notifications, price-reduction alerts, market updates, and information about our real estate services.
